Olympian Allyson Felix shared her thoughts on ShaCarri Richardson during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! where she called the young sprinter “a great personality.”

During her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Allyson was asked by guest host Stephen A. Smith to send a message to ShaCarri Richardson following all that the young sprinter had endured during the lead up to the Tokyo Olympics.
Allyson said: “I know that she’s obviously been through so much and I hope that she’s just supported. I hope people rally around her.”
The 35 year-old sprinter stated that ShaCarri has “a great personality” and is someone who “has brought a lot of attention to the sport,” which she thinks will lead to ShaCarri being “in the sport for a very long time.”
She continued on to say: “I think just more than anything, for all athletes, there’s so much that goes into it. Just give her the support that she needs.”
ShaCarri responds to Allyson’s comments
Following Allyson’s appearance on Jimmy Kimmel, ShaCarri posted a Boomerang selfie on her Instagram story, which she captioned cryptically:
“Encouraging words on TV shows are just as real as, well, nothing at all.”
It appears to be an indirect dig at Allyson and was followed up by another quote which read: “Be a good person but don’t waste time proving it.”
