Matheus Cunha set for Atletico Madrid
Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Atletico Madrid are now set to sign Cunha from Hertha Berlin.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that the transfer deal is at the final stages, and that paperworks will be prepared in the next hours.
Blow for Leeds and Everton
This latest development on the future of Cunha will come as a blow for Leeds and Everton.
Sky Germany and Calciomercato reported in May interest from Leeds in the Brazilian striker.
Then UOL in Brazil claimed in June that Leeds had stepped up talks to sign the 22-year-old.
