Tony Adams has told Premier League Productions (22/08/21 at 1:20 pm) that he wants Harry Kane to leave Tottenham, but he has a ‘funny feeling’ he is going to stay.

On Sunday, Kane was in Tottenham colours for the first time this season when Nuno Espirito Santo’s side beat Wolves 1-0, and in truth, he should have marked his return with a goal.

Despite weeks and weeks of speculation about Kane wanting to leave, all of that was ignored by the Spurs away faithful, who welcomed him back with cheers and chants of ‘he is one of our own’.

Putting his Arsenal hat on, Highbury legend Adams wants Kane to leave North London, but he thinks he will actually stay.

“I want him to leave, obviously from an Arsenal perspective,” said Adams. “I have a funny feeling he might stay and Tottenham will be a real force with him.

“But I think you guys think different that he might be on his way.”

As Manchester City will be finding out, it’s not easy dealing with someone like Daniel Levy.

If those from the Etihad want to sign the England captain then they should put a respectful amount of money on the table for his talents.

Man City have set the bar by signing Jack Grealish for £100 million, and whilst he is a rising top talent, Kane is far ahead of the expert ball-carrier.

Numerous Golden Boots, both on the domestic and international stage, Champions League goals and the best season of his career last time out.

It’s simple really, if Man City think Kane’s worth it then they should give Spurs their money’s worth.
