Leeds United picked up their first point of the new Premier League season, with Raphinha rescuing a point against Everton.
The Whites were hammered 5-1 at Manchester United on the opening weekend, so needed to come up with a big response against Rafael Benitez’s Toffees.
Leeds twice went behind as Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Demarai Gray scored for Everton, but twice came back with equalisers from Mateusz Klich and Raphinha.
Raphinha’s goal really lit up the game, firing a left footed drive past Jordan Pickford with his absolute want of a left foot.
The Brazilian was a gem last season, racking up six goals and nine assists in 30 Premier League outings following a move from Rennes.
Big things are expected of the 24-year-old this season, and he has certainly started well with a fine goal against Everton, making up for a big miss against Manchester United.

Victor Orta actually summed up the moment well as a clip from Match of the Day captured the Spaniard’s reaction to Raphinha’s strike.
Sat with owner Andrea Radrizzani and managing director Angus Kinnear, Orta was spotted simply saying ‘wow’ as Raphinha’s strike hit the back of the net.
That’s how Leeds fans will have felt too, and Orta will be very pleased with himself having brought Raphinha to Elland Road last summer.
