Tottenham Hotspur appear to be pressing ahead with their interest in signing Rubin Kazan winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia – but need to sell players first.
That’s according to Sky Sports, who claim that Kvaratskhelia is one of a number of wingers Tottenham are pursuing ahead of the transfer deadline.
Wolverhampton Wanderers wide man Adama Traore is also wanted, as is PSV Eindhoven’s former Tottenham talent Noni Madueke.
In the case of Kvaratskhelia, the move is claimed to be in the ‘early stages’, and that is because Tottenham need to sell players first.
The likes of Serge Aurier, Moussa Sissoko, Tanguy Ndombele and Ben Davies could be on the move before the transfer deadline.
That would give Tottenham the funds to reinvest in new signings, and Kvaratskhelia could be one of Paratici’s priorities.

The Georgian winger has impressed with Rubin, recording eight goals and 13 assists in 57 games for the club whilst being compared to Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery.
Fabrizio Romano added that Kvaratskhelia is an ‘incredible’ player, begging him up for a huge future having excelled in Russia.
Tottenham have already landed one young winger in Bryan Gil, but could still have another coming in if funds are raised for Kvaratskhelia too.
