Australian teen posts puffy Doritos chip on TikTok

Rylee Stuart, a 13-year-old teenager from Australia has gone viral this month after she found an oddly shaped Dorito.

She found the puffed-up chip in a normal packet of Doritos and decided to post a video of it on her TikTok @m0mmymilkerza.

In the clip posted on July 19th, she showed off the puffy chip and wrote: “I found a puff Dorito! Is this valuable or should I just eat it? Tell me please.”

The video has had a huge 1.6 million views and gone viral, with social media users amazed by the rare snack.

Doritos gave her $20k

It’s lucky she didn’t eat it because Doritos offered Rylee and her family a whopping $20,000 dollars as a prize for finding the chip.

Rylee initially posted it on eBay where it received bids of up to $100,000, but the listing was quickly taken down.

However, Doritos quickly caught wind of her story and offered her a life-changing amount of money.

PepsiCo, who owns Doritos, said that they were incredibly “impressed” with the teen’s “entrepreneurial spirit”.

“It’s been a whirlwind couple of days for Rylee and her family and we’ve loved following her story. We’ve been so impressed with Rylee’s boldness and entrepreneurial spirit, so we wanted to make sure the Stuart family were rewarded for their creativity and love for Doritos,” they said.
