Barcelona head coach Ronald Koeman has suggested that reported Tottenham Hotspur target Martin Braithwaite could be sold, as quoted in Mundo Deportivo.
Koeman has praised Braithwaite, who reportedly wants to move to Tottenham in the summer transfer window, and hopes that he stays at Camp Nou.
However, the Barcelona boss has admitted that if an offer comes in, then the club will listen due to their financial problems.
What Ronald Koeman has said
Mundo Deportivo quotes Koeman as saying about Braithwaite: “We know the situation of the club. If there is an interest in a player, we will listen but Martin is doing very well for us, playing in different positions up front.
“He showed the other day that he is important to the team. I love to play with him. He is very disciplined. He accepts his role of not always playing. For me, I think he should stay.”

Tottenham Hotspur rumour
Sport reported this month interest from Tottenham in signing Braithwaite from Barcelona in the summer transfer window.
Spurs are reportedly looking at the Denmark international forward as a potential replacement for Harry Kane.
Tottenham striker Kane is wanted by Manchester City.
West Ham United are keen on the Denmark international forward as well and have actually made a firm offer for him.
However, Braithwaite is waiting for an offer from Spurs because he prefers a move to the North London club if he is to leave Barcelona.

Could a transfer happen?
As we said when we covered the report here on HITC Sport, it will come as a surprise if Tottenham actually bid for Braithwaite.
The former Middlesbrough man is 30 now and is not a prolific striker.
Now, of course, you could point out that Braithwaite has scored two goals and provided one assist in one La Liga appearance already this season, but he is not really at the level to replace Kane, who has scored 166 goals in 245 Premier League appearances in his career so far.
