Wolverhampton Wanderers are expecting Tottenham Hotspur to make a bid for winger Adama Traore – if Harry Kane leaves this month.
That’s according to the Daily Mail, who claim that Wolves are now bracing themselves for a big bid from Tottenham for their prized wide man.
Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo worked with Traore at Wolves, and may now want to reunite with him.
Nuno was such a big fan of Traore that he called him ‘special and unique’ earlier this year, so Tottenham’s interest is no huge surprise.
Traore has two years left on his deal and hasn’t agreed a new one, with a £45million asking price now on his head.
Of course, Traore wouldn’t be the direct replacement for Kane – far from it.

It’s more that Wolves think Tottenham need to sell Kane in order to raise the funds for a Traore bid, with Manchester City keen on Kane.
Traore would then, presumably, take Lucas Moura’s role on the right side of Nuno’s attack – though Moura himself was superb against City on Sunday.
With less than two weeks to go, Traore is a name for Tottenham fans to keep a close eye on, but it would all hinge on Kane’s departure.
