MiHoYo’s Genshin Impact update 2.1 livestream release date and start time has been announced as well as how to watch on Twitch.

Version 2.0 has been excellent thanks to the arrival of Ayaka, Yoimiya, and Sayu, but the forthcoming update is poised to be even better. Not only will we get more Inazuma islands as well as fishing, but we will also get to play as Sony’s freckled girl on fire, Aloy.

The crossover with Horizon Zero Dawn is the most exciting component, but there are other heroines of light and dark to anticipate.

What time does the Genshin Impact 2.1 livestream start?

The release date for the Genshin Impact update 2.1 livestream is August 20th and it will start at the time of 06:00 PT, 09:00 ET, and 14:00 BST.

It should last between 30 and 60-minutes long, and it will confirm a bunch of details about the patch. We already know that the character banners will be Kokomi, Baal, and Kujou Sara, and Aloy will be available to claim for free.

While Aloy will be available for PlayStation, the PC and mobile community will have to wait until update 2.2 to claim the girl kissed by fire.

How to watch Genshin Impact 2.1 livestream

You will be able to watch the Genshin Impact update 2.1 livestream on Twitch.

It will also become available on YouTube after it has aired. This will allow you to sit through the programme again whenever you fancy.

Aside from the character banners that have already been confirmed, leaks suggest that fishing will be announced along with new Inazuma islands to explore. The Seirai and Watatsumi maps have leaked online, and they appear pretty large.

Release date

MiHoYo will announce the release date during their preview, but the update is expected to launch on September 1st.

Version 2.0 launched on July 21st, so update 2.1 is expected to start on the above start date as each patch typically lasts six weeks. There’s not really long until then, and we cannot wait to play as the cute and petite Aloy before Horizon Forbidden West comes out next year.
