Manchester City have been offered Cristiano Ronaldo by the player’s agent, according to Corriere Dello Sport (as per Daily Mail).
What’s the story?
In the print version of Corriere Dello Sport (17/08, front page) – as per Daily Mail – it’s revealed Juventus’ asking price for the ace is just £25m.
The Citizens have been attempting to sign Harry Kane all summer long. However, Tottenham Hotspur are insistent over their £150m asking price.#
As a result, the Portuguese international could be available as an alternative.
Pep Guardiola’s side have already had a £100m bid rejected for the England international. City are willing to walk away from the table if Spurs insist on their price.

Ronaldo to Manchester City is incredibly unlikely
A move for Ronaldo to Manchester City is extremely unlikely despite the offer from his agent.
The 36-year-old enjoyed a great career with arch-rivals Manchester United. It was a trophy-laden spell where he won numerous titles and turned into one of the best players in the world.
As a result, his relationship with the Old Trafford faithful was strong and still is to this day. Back in 2013, Ronaldo claimed he would never join the blue half of Manchester.
And entering the twilight years of his career, it’s unlikely he would ruin his relationship with a move to the Etihad Stadium.
