Some Liverpool fans on social media have once again been raving about Kaide Gordon after it emerged that he scored on Sunday in a behind closed doors friendly against Aston Villa at Anfield.
The season may have started for the Reds on Saturda evening, but that doesn’t mean that they’ve stopped with the usual pre-season preparations, and on Sunday they played a friendly at Anfield.
The Reds ran out 4-1 winners, and amongst the goalscorers was 16-year-old Gordon.
The teenager has been one of the bright sparks of pre-season, and he once again impressed on Sunday.
His goal was incredibly well taken, it was a curled finish with his left foot into the far corner, giving the goalkeeper no chance.
Of course, that’s only one moment from the game, but that hasn’t stopped Reds supporters from getting into a bit of a frenzy about the teenager.
