Tottenham Hotspur are attempting a double deal for Fiorentina pair Nikola Milenkovic for Dusan Vlahovic – and are now waiting for Rocco Commisso’s verdict.
That’s according to Alfredo Pedulla, who claims that the final decision from president Commisso is ‘pending’ as Tottenham attempt a double raid.
It’s stated that defender Milenkovic will leave Fiorentina before the transfer deadline, but West Ham United haven’t been able to secure a deal.
That has now given Tottenham the chance to move in, and Fabio Paratici is claimed to have been an admirer of Milenkovic since his time at Juventus.
Paratici has already brought in one defender in Cristian Romero this summer, but seemingly wants to pair him up with Milenkovic moving forward.
West Ham had offered around €15million (£12.75million) for Milenkovic, but Tottenham are now expected to offer more than that.
As for Vlahovic, Tottenham hope that talks for Milenkovic will now unlock a deal for compatriot Vlahovic, though he would be much, much more expensive.
Tottenham seemingly do want to play Vlahovic with Harry Kane, but finding the cash to sign the Serbian without selling Kane could be difficult.
The 21-year-old scored 21 goals in 37 league games last season and looks set for a huge future, with Paratici unsurprisingly hoping that future comes with Tottenham.
Milenkovic seems a more likely signing than Vlahovic at this stage, but with Tottenham waiting for president Commisso to make his decision on a big deal, there seems to be real hope of signing both.
