Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin has told manager Mikel Arteta and Technical Director Edu that he wants to leave the Gunners now, according to The Athletic.
What’s the story?
The Athletic are reporting this morning that Bellerin is desperate to leave Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
The 26-year-old is ‘growing extremely frustrated’, and believes that Arsenal are reluctant to sanction his exit.
The former Barcelona prospect has already told Arteta and Edu of his desire to leave the Emirates Stadium now.
Talks between Arsenal and Inter Milan have not come to fruition, and now there is an idea that Bellerin could go to Barcelona and Emerson Royal join from the Spanish giants in a swap deal.

What happens now?
From this report in The Athletic, it seems that Bellerin simply does not want to be at Arsenal anymore.
There is no point in keeping a player who does not want to stay.
The problem for Arsenal is that they are going to struggle to find a suitable replacement for Bellerin, who has made 183 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.

Calum Chambers played at right-back against Brentford in the Premier League last Friday, but the Englishman struggled.
Could Emerson Royal be convinced to leave Barcelona for Arsenal this month?
The Spanish giants exercised their option to bring the 22-year-old right-back from Real Betis only this summer.
It is unlikely that the youngster will be open to leaving Barcelona.
