Richard Keys has written on his website that Manchester City should pay what is needed to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur.
The former Sky Sports presenter has said that City should stop playing games now and just get the deal to bring Kane from Spurs done.
The beIN SPORTS presenter has said that the Premier League champions cannot leave Kane hanging any longer and should pay the £150 million or so needed to convince Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to sell the England international.
The Times reported last week that City are planning to make a bid of £120 million for Kane this week.
The Telegraph reported in July that Levy values the striker at £160m.
Keys wrote on his website: “We all know now that they want Kane. They need Kane more than they needed Grealish – so go and buy him. Stop trying to be smart.
“You‘ve unsettled the guy. You’ve told him you’ll buy him – so do it. Stop the games. You can’t leave him hanging any longer.
“What’s the difference between £120m and £150 for City? Guardiola has already spent £1.4b in his failed attempts to win the CL – so just get the deal done.”

What should Manchester City do?
City manager Pep Guardiola has publicly stated his interest in Kane.
It is clear that the Citizens want to sign the striker, who himself is reported to be keen on a move to the Etihad Stadium.

The easiest thing for City to do would be to just pay the £160m required for Kane now.
The Citizens could wait until the final days of the summer transfer window to see if Levy changes his stance.
The problem with that is that Spurs will need to sign a replacement striker, and they cannot sell Kane if they do not have enough time to replace him in the team.
