Call of Duty Warzone and Black Ops Cold War Season 5 is finally here and it comes with a bunch of new guns as well as weapon changes.

Even though Season 5 was delayed by 24-hours, players can finally don Kitsune’s eyepatch and use her hacking prowess to cause sheer carnage. You can also play Cold War‘s newest mode, Double Agent, which tasks players with uncovering who is truly friend and who is foe.

Activision’s battle pass comes with plenty on offer, but fans will be more than happy with the fresh items to kill.

What are the new guns in Warzone Season 5?

The new guns in Warzone season five include the highly-anticipated EM2 Assault Rifle as well as the Tec-9 Submachine Gun.

Both of the above are available at launch meaning you can get them right away. The EM2 is a heavy British rifle with a slow rate of fire but heavy power, meanwhile the Tec-9 is a semi-auto submachine gun with good damage and moderate range.

While both of these new guns are available right now, there are two more new weapons that will be unlocked later in the season. These are the Marshal Handgun as well as the Crane for melee.

The Marshal is a double-barrel pistol that is extremely deadly at close range, meanwhile, the Crane is a stylish tool for whacking your opponents to death.

Warzone Season 5 weapon changes

There is some confusion about the weapon changes in Warzone season five.

The patch notes on Raven Software’s website don’t mention any, meanwhile, the in-game patch notes have a list but not all of the changes have been implemented.

Some people are guessing that the listed weapon changes are for the next tuning pass, but some already appear to be active. Modern Warzone has shown a screenshot of some of the in-game patch notes not everyone has received.
