Fans of girl band CLC are in a major panic right now after Yujin spoke out about the group on ‘Girls Planet 999’. CLC’s fanbase has taken to Twitter, speculating a disband!

CLC were formed by Cube Entertainment back in 2015.

Yujin speaks out on ‘Girls Planet 999’

Mnet’s newest survival show ‘Girls Planet 999’ is on the search for a new girl group and, as much as fans are loving the series, many have been occupied with something else…

Talking on ‘Girls Planet 999’ Yujin spoke: “The company said the team was dismissed.”

Obviously, this sent CLC fans into a state of worry, wondering if things have come to an end for the girl band.

As we know, Elkie left CLC back in February of 2021. At the time, she stated: “When the company said it would no longer be investing resources into CLC, I felt that there was no reason to stay on. As an idol, I just wanted to reach out to fans through my work. If I wasn’t allowed to do that, not being able to give back to the fans, I couldn’t accept it.”

The singer reportedly remains close with the remaining band-mates, although fans are fearing for the worst.

Fans speculate CLC disband

Fans of the group have since taken to Twitter, following Yujin’s appearance on ‘Girls Planet 999’.

The fanbase is clearly in debate, struggling to come to conclusion on whether CLC have really disbanded!

One confused fan tweeted: “i trusted cube for having an observation to what they did to their other artists, they let them enter survival shows enable for them to get recognition, if they’ll really gonna disband clc now, really f*ck off i’ll gonna defend my girls no matter what.”

Somebody else explained: “they didn’t disband they were dismissed aka Cube is gonna leave them in the dungeon until the contract expires. The reason Yujin went on GP999 is prob cuz if she does well and gains popularity then CUBE will give CLC a cb and prob why they never released an official announcement.”

Another wrote: “yujin said clc was dismissed not disband, which is basically what elkie said before, cube simply said to them “you can do whatever you want but we are not supporting you anymore” they probably didn’t disband yet bc of contract.”

Cube Entertainment is yet to confirm or deny the rumours surrounding CLC disbanding.
