BTS Jungkook deemed as one of the most talented vocalists of the world is now extending his world record with music composition! The Grammy-nominated singer has spent 18 weeks on Japan’s Billboard Hot 100 composer chart as the co-composer of BTS’ hit single ‘Film Out.’

The title track ‘Film Out‘ from BTS’ latest Japanese album, ‘BTS, The Best’ is an emotional pop ballad that took the music charts by storm after releasing on April 2nd, 2021.

But this won’t be the first time the 24-year-multi-talented BTS vocalist is showing his growth as a musician. In 2020, Jungkook’s ‘BE’ track ‘Stay’ charted at number 32 in Billboard Hot 100. The ‘Euphoria’ crooner divulged that the song was supposed to be for his mixtape.

BTS Jungkook makes new history on Billboard charts

Along with BTS Jungkook’s co-composing record, the Billboard Hot 100 topping artist has made new history on Billboard’s Digital song sales chart this week. Both his singles ‘Euphoria’ and ‘My Time’ re-entered Billboard World Digital Song Sales at Number 9 and Number 10 respectively.

A fan explains, “This makes Jungkook the first and only Korean idol to have one of their songs spend that many weeks on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart. Jungkook also gaining recognition as a composer for “Film Out” spending his 18th week on Billboard Japan Hot 100 Composers chart.”

All the hit tracks co-composed by JK

Magic Shop

Fast forward to a couple of years later, the ‘Decalcomania’ crooner co-wrote ‘Magic Shop’ which became a healing anthem for BTS ARMY.

My Time

‘My Time’ from BTS’ album ‘Map of the soul: 7’ marked the singer’s outworldly growth as a singer and songwriter. The track peaked at number 2 in Billboard’s Digital Songs chart.

It also gained critical appreciation from renowned musicians for its seamless blending of the mid-tempo beat and a personal story that the deep lyrics conveyed.

Jungkook’s response to the world confining into a small room last year was his track ‘Stay.’ Made to be a ‘Stadium hit’, the EDM surge of ‘Stay’ served as the high ending note of ‘BE’ giving the message of hope that while the world changes outside, the pure bond between the singer and his listeners will stay the same.

Along with the above-mentioned tracks, JK has penned ‘Your Eyes Tell,’ ‘Still With You,’ and many more.

Prior to the singer’s much-awaited mixtape‘s release, his track ‘Decalcomania’ hit number 1 on the Genius All Genres chart.
