The Warzone Season 5 start time was supposed to be imminent, but the update has been delayed by 24-hours.

Although there’s plenty to look forward to with new Operators such as the hack specialist Kitsune, the most exciting aspect about the forthcoming version is the expected reveal of Call of Duty Vanguard. And, if the recent rumours are true, this in-game announcement could happen on August 19th.

We still have over a week to wait for Activision to possibly pull the curtain aside on Vanguard, but – despite the delay – the next version of Activision’s battle royale will arrive soon.

What time does Warzone Season 5 start?

The release date and start time for the Warzone Season five update is 21:00 PT on August 12th, as well as 00:00 ET and 05:00 BST on August 13th.

All of the above hours have been confirmed by Activision on Twitter. The times were meant to happen on August 11th and 12th respectively, but now that applies to Black Ops Cold War instead.

Has Warzone Season 5 been delayed?

Activision has confirmed that Warzone Season five has been delayed by 24-hours.

There were clues that the season had been prolonged for an extra day thanks to an added 24-hours to the battle pass, as well as because the Call of Duty website had changed the August 12th release date to “available this week”.

Although the delay is slightly annoying, the good news is that it will simply arrive only one day later than normal.
