According to The Telegraph, Celtic target George Baldock is the subject of interest from Olympiacos this summer.
Indeed, the full-back has been attracting interest from numerous clubs since he was relegated from the Premier League with Sheffield United.
Burnley have looked at him, Ange Postecoglou has apparently made him Celtic’s number one target, and now Olympiacos reportedly want him.
Baldock, of course, has links to Greece. He’s eligible for the Greek national team through his Grandmother, so a move to the Europa League side could appeal to him.
Celtic are yet to make a suitable offer for Baldock, they made a loan approach earlier in the window, but that isn’t something the Blades are looking for.
Sheffield United are reportedly only open to a permanent sale, and Olympiacos would have to cough up the cash if they want to bring the right-back in.

Of course, this is something of a blow to Celtic. The Bhoys’ right-back position has been something of a problem area for quite some time now, and while they’ve identified Baldock as the man they want, it seems as though it’ll be tough to get this one over the line.
This remains a situation to keep an eye on.
