According to CalcioMercato, Tammy Abraham wants to join Arsenal, but that isn’t going to stop other clubs from trying to convince him to move elsewhere – namely Roma and Atalanta.
It’s no secret that Arsenal are keen on the striker once dubbed as ‘unbelievable’, and while the Chelsea ace reportedly wants to stay in London and join the Gunners, the two Serie A outfits are going to attempt to convince him to change his view.
For now though, Abraham seemingly has his heart set on a move to the Emirates, and that certainly wouldn’t be a bad move for either party.
The Gunners need a striker and the 23-year-old has proven that he’s able to score at this level, netting plenty under Frank Lampard before Timo Werner came in as the new first-choice number nine at Stamford Bridge.
So, will Abraham join Arsenal? Well, it sounds as though he wants to, so a lot will depend on whether or not Arsenal can come up with an offer that is satisfactory for Chelsea and whether or not Atalanta or Roma can turn his head.
It seems as though there is a transfer saga bubbling under the surface with Abraham, and this is certainly one to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.
