Some Liverpool fans on social media have been drooling over Ben Woodburn after his performance on Monday evening against Osasuna.
The youngster had long been touted as the next big thing at Anfield, but sadly for the 21-year-old, a number of underwhelming loan spells have seen his development stall.
However, there may still be a role for him to play at Liverpool, and fans were certainly impressed by his performance in pre-season.
Indeed, supporters were quick to comment on how much Woodburn has seemingly improved this summer, and if he keeps this up, there’s no reason why he can’t have a future at Liverpool.
Now, we’re not saying that he’s going to be one of the Reds’ best players, but as a homegrown youngster, there’s certainly a place for him in the squad if he can continue to improve.
