Rio Ferdinand has claimed that Harry Kane will ‘unleash all the gritty stuff behind the scenes’ at Tottenham ‘once he leaves’, as he told his own YouTube channel.

The Old Trafford legend is adamant that Kane will ‘100%’ leave Tottenham this summer and join Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.

It hasn’t been a pleasant few weeks for the England captain, who has been accused of skipping training and then had to come out on Twitter to explain that he wasn’t due back for pre-season on the date people expected.

Believe what you will.

But either way, there does seem to be a war-of-words bubbling up between Kane himself and Daniel Levy.

And Ferdinand thinks Kane will leave this summer and he will then share everything that is happening behind the scenes at Spurs.

“I think Harry Kane, once he signs for Man City,” said Ferdinand. “I think then he will unleash all the gritty stuff behind the scenes.

“I think he is 100% going. I think Man City are stalling and are trying to get him cheaper.

“I think with Harry Kane, it will come to light what happened afterwards. I think he was told he could leave this summer at a certain price.

“I think that price has been met or is just underneath and Levy is being stubborn, which he has a right to be.”

It’s not in Kane’s nature to do what Ferdinand thinks he will do, but then again not many expected him to miss training.

Either way, it seems as though Kane is upset and perhaps he has dealt with it the wrong way and has been given the wrong advice.

If he does stay on at Spurs, luckily for him, he can paper over those possible cracks by scoring the goals.

But stuck in between all of this are the supporters, the Tottenham players and the new man in the dugout, which isn’t helpful to anyone.
