Celtic are interested in bringing Thomas Henry from OH Leuven to Celtic Park in the summer transfer window, according to The Scottish Sun.
What’s the story?
The Scottish Sun are reporting tonight (10:30pm) that Celtic are on the verge of signing Henry for £7 million.
The Glasgow giants are hopeful of securing the services of the French striker this summer.
Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic are now in pole position to sign the striker, who is wanted by number of clubs.
The report has added that the 26-year-old is ‘the ideal replacement for Odsonne Edouard’.
Brighton and Hove Albion are favourites to sign Edouard, according to the report, while The Daily Record have claimed that Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma are interested in him.

Good signing for Celtic?
In an ideal scenario, Celtic would not have to sell Edouard, who is one of the best strikers in the Scottish Premiership.
However, if the Hoops have to part company with the French striker, then it is not a bad thing that they are about to bring in a replacement.

Henry has scored three goals in three appearances in the Belgian league already this season.
During the 2020-21 campaign, the 26-year-old striker scored 21 goals and gave five assists in 31 league matches.
The Scottish Sun have claimed that over the past two seasons, Henry has scored 42 goals and given 12 assists in 75 appearances.
