The FIFA 22 closed beta is right around the corner but fans should care more about the release date for the trial demo.

There’s always cynicism from the football community with every instalment, but this year’s entry looks promising thanks to all the Career Mode improvements. You will be able to create your own club, there will be more cinematics, and Pro Clubs will also include women for the first time.

Fans have been begging for significant Career Mode improvements for many years, and the good news is that you will be able to try its changes very soon.

Is there a FIFA 22 demo?

A free FIFA 22 demo has not been announced, but there will be a trial available on EA Play before its release date.

There is usually a free sample available to download, but last year’s instalment was the first to cancel and break tradition. EA Sports announced on Twitter that the decision was made to focus on “delivering the best full game experience for current and next-gen consoles”.

It’s unclear whether normal services will resume, but – even if they don’t – you will be able to enjoy a lengthy trial for a small fee.

When is the FIFA 22 trial?

The FIFA 22 trial demo release date hasn’t been announced, but it could be October 2nd.

EA usually releases their trials a week before the game’s official launch and it typically happens on a Thursday. The Madden 22 sample launches on August 12th with the full release on August 20th, meanwhile the FIFA 21 trial launched on October 1st before the full game was released on October 9th.

When the demo comes out, it will allow you to enjoy up to ten hours of gameplay. Not only that, but you will be able to play all the modes that you want without any restrictions aside from the time limit.

How to get

You will need an EA Play subscription to get the FIFA 22 trial demo when it releases.

Football fans can subscribe on either PlayStation, Xbox, or PC, and it costs either £3.99 per month or £19.99 every year. However, PC players also have the option of a Pro membership which costs £14.99 per month or £89.99 every 12-months.
