According to 90min, Newcastle have agreed a deal with Arsenal in regards to the signing of Joe Willock, who is also wanted by Crystal Palace.
What’s the story?
Well, 90min believe that Newcastle are the only side to agree terms with the Gunners, although there are still a few obstacles to overcome.
Willock must agree to join the Magpies, or the deal will go no further.
90min believe the 21-year-old still needs convincing, despite Newcastle meeting all of his demands so far.
There is concern at the lack of movement in the deal, although those at Newcastle are confident that Willock will be theirs for the 2021/22 campaign.
The Magpies have put an offer worth £25m with add-ons on the table, which Arsenal seem to be happy with.
Blow for Crystal Palace

If this news is true, it will not be music to the ears of Patrick Vieira.
90min are claiming that Crystal Palace want Willock as well, although the south Londoners now seem likely to miss out.
In truth, it would probably be unwise of the Eagles to spend £25m on the midfielder without having him on loan first.
In our view, Newcastle are only happy to pay such a sum because Willock has been tried and tested on Tyneside, and to great effect.

The man with 54 Premier League appearances scored eight goals for the Magpies last season, following a January loan move.
Seven of those came in seven successive matches, as Willock put his name up in lights.
Hopefully, he will continue to deliver the goods should he complete a return to St James’ Park.
