West Brom fans have reacted on Twitter to rumoured West Ham and Leeds target, Matheus Pereira, claiming that he wants to leave the club.
In a bold statement on his personal Twitter account, the attack-minded midfielder hit back at claims that he’s ‘not committed’ to the cause, but insisted he wants to leave this summer to better his career.
Even though the Baggies were relegated last season, the 25-year-old was a shining light, with his silky skills, deadly left-foot and ability to carry the ball standing out amongst a pretty average crowd.
Therefore, it wasn’t a surprise that Leeds and West Ham seemingly started showing interest in his talents this summer.
Given Pereira’s actions yesterday, it will be interesting to see the path the likes of Leeds and West Ham go down and whether they will look to push for his signature given that he has made his situation public.

Or how about Saido Berahino? He publicly vented his frustration and anger on social media at not being able to move to Tottenham.
The former England U21 international is now playing in Belgium for Charleroi.
Given Pereira’s pretty bold actions yesterday, perhaps it is best the likes of West Ham and Leed stay off this one because it wouldn’t be a surprise if his talents land him down the same road as Berahino – gone without a flash.
Nonetheless, here is a selection of Baggies fans reacting to Pereira’s statement:
