John Hartson has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Celtic signing goalkeeper Joe Hart from Tottenham Hotspur and midfielder James McCarthy.
What’s the story?
Celtic have announced on their official website this afternoon that they have signed Hart from Tottenham and McCarthy on a free transfer.
Former Manchester City goalkeeper Hart has signed a three-year contract with the Hoops.
Midfielder McCarthy has put pen to paper on a four-year deal with Celtic.
John Hartson’s reaction
As you can see from his tweet below, former Celtic striker Hartson is very happy that the Glasgow giants have signed Hart and McCarthy.

Good signings for Celtic?
Hart may be 34, but the former Burnley goalkeeper is a very good and experienced goalkeeper.
The Englishman will be expected to go straight into the first team.
Hart has played for big clubs such as City and Tottenham, and he will relish the chance to turn out for Celtic in front of a passionate Celtic Park crowd.
McCarthy is a very combative midfielder who has a wealth of experience in the Premier League and will increase the depth in that department.
