The Daily Mail are reporting that Tottenham Hotspur head coach Nuno has been impressed by Oliver Skipp, who is wanted by Norwich City.
What’s the story?
According to The Daily Mail, Norwich want to sign Skipp from Tottenham in the summer transfer window.
The Canaries are keen on securing the services of the 20-year-old midfielder on a loan deal.
The youngster spent the 2020-21 campaign on loan at Norwich from Spurs and helped them win promotion to the Premier League.
The midfielder scored one goal and gave one assist in 45 Championship appearances for the Canaries.
The Daily Mail have claimed that although Tottenham head coach Nuno has been ‘impressed’ by Skipp during pre-season, he may decide to send him out on loan to aid his development.

Back to Norwich City?
Skipp knows Norwich and how the team play under manager Daniel Farke.
Farke rates the Tottenham midfielder highly, describing him as “unbelievable” and “outstanding” in EDP24 in May 2021.
If Skipp is not going to play regularly for Spurs this season, then a loan move to Norwich would make sense.
The 20-year-old would play every week for the Canaries, and Tottenham boss Nuno would be able to keep a close eye on the midfielder’s development.
