We all love a good murder mystery and ITV regularly provides some of the best out there with recent efforts including McDonald & Dodds, Van der Valk and Grace all captivating us over recent years.

Starring Ben Miller of Death in Paradise fame, Professor T is ITV’s newest effort in the crime-solving genre and after two episodes, it hasn’t disappointed.

Like most murder mysteries, each new chapter of Professor T welcomes a host of guest actors alongside its main stars but just who is in the cast of episode 3?

Professor T episode 3: Release date and plot

After debuting on July 18th, Professor T continues for its third instalment on Sunday, August 1st.

Titled Tiger Tiger, episode 3 sees Professor T become embroiled in a tense hostage situation.

If the scenario wasn’t daunting enough, the criminology lecturer-turned-sleuth doesn’t win over the police team thanks to his unusual negotiating tactics.

Meanwhile, and arguably more stressful for Professor T, it’s revealed that all is not well with old flame Christina’s marriage.
