Aston Villa attacking midfielder Jack Grealish will tell the Villans that he wants to join Manchester City, according to The Daily Star.

What’s the story?

The Daily Star have reported that Premier League champions City have made an offer of £100 million for Villa star Grealish.

The Villans are determined to hold onto the 25-year-old and have offered the England international attacking midfielder a new contract worth £200,000 per week.

Grealish is on holiday at the moment following his participation at Euro 2020.

The England international attacking midfielder will return to training with Villa on Monday and will tell the club’s bosses that he wants to join City, according to the report.

Manchester City transfer imminent?

If Grealish wants to leave for City, then it is hard to see Villa keep him against his wishes.

The 25-year-old has done all he can for the Villans, and one can understand if he wants to take the next step in his career.

City are a massive club who won the Premier League title last season and also reached the Champions League final.

Villa would get £100 million for Grealish, and that is a lot of money.
