West Ham United are in advanced talks with Barcelona forward Martin Braithwaite, according to Sport.
What’s the story?
Barcelona and West Ham have practically agreed on a €15 million (£12.78m) transfer fee over Braithwaite, according to a report in Sport this morning.
The Hammers are now in ‘advanced discussions’ with the former Middlesbrough forward.
The 30-year-old is not happy with the salary that West Ham have offered to him, but talks are going on.
West Ham have to increase their wage package to convince the Denmark international to make the move to London Stadium.
Could a transfer happen?
It seems that Barcelona are willing to sell Braithwaite.
The Dane himself is willing to make the switch to West Ham, but the Hammers will have to pay him more.

It will be interesting to see if the London club do increase their pay-package for the 30-year-old.
Braithwaite is not a prolific goalscorer, but, like he did for Denmark at Euro 2020, he can play out on the wide.
West Ham will play in the Europa League next season and will also be aiming to finish in the Premier League top four.
Manager David Moyes does need a big squad, and Braithwaite would be a decent option.
