Some Liverpool fans on social media have been reacting after they were remarkably linked with a move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
The Frenchman has reportedly been offered to the Reds by his agent Mino Raiola, and as unrealistic as it sounds, stranger things have happened.
Indeed, one Liverpool fan was quick to point out that Michael Owen joining Manchester United was equally as bizarre, so it’s hard to completely write off the possibility of Pogba joining the Reds, even if it sounds rather strange.
Interestingly, despite the fact Pogba plays for Manchester United, Liverpool fans were quite buzzing with this rumour for a couple of reasons.
A number of fans were understandably over the moon with the fact they may be about to sign a World Cup winner, while others were quite pleased with the fact they could get one over Manchester United by signing one of their best players.
