West Ham want to sign Chelsea defender, Kurt Zouma, according to Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth.

The Hammers have already been linked with another Chelsea player this summer in Tammy Abraham and now it seems as though they want Zouma’s talents.

The 26-year-old could be heading for the Stamford Bridge exit door this summer, with several Premier League clubs keen to sign him, including Everton and Spurs.

And presenter, Pete Graves, shared information from Sky’s transfer expert, Sheth, on West Ham wanting Zouma, who would ‘welcome a move’ to the London Stadium.

“Our man Dharmesh Sheth has just sent another transfer line in,” said Graves. “This is reaching us all the time at Sky Sports.

“This involves West Ham. We are told they are in talks with Chelsea over the signing of Kurt Zouma.

“Now, West Ham, we are told to are prepared to pay around £20 million for Zouma, now that would fall under Chelsea’s valuation.

“However, the key to this is that Zouma is settled in London, and as it stands, he would welcome that move over being part of a deal involving Jules Kounde, which has been mooted.”

Given that Chelsea want to sign Jules Kounde from Sevilla, as reported by Sky Sports, it does make Zouma’s life that little tougher in earning game time next season.

Either way, wherever the Frenchman does end up, it does like he will be leaving this summer.

And the Hammers, who are in need of depth and quality ahead of their European tour, should be doing everything in their power to lure Zouma towards their direction.

But that’s where there is a stumbling block and the fans begin to get frustrated because they have been linked with Abraham this summer, yet no sign of him joining.

And the biggest one of them all, Jesse Lingard, is at the top of the West Ham fans wishlist, yet it seems as though he could be staying put at Old Trafford.
