Peacock-Farrell has joined Darren Moore’s side on a loan deal, as Wednesday look to make an instant return back to England’s second-tier after a number of woeful seasons on and off the pitch.

Leeds fans had quite a lot to say about Peacock-Farrell’s decision to move to Hillsborough and especially to a team in League One.

It wasn’t so long ago that he departed Elland Road to try and earn minutes in the big league, but now, he finds himself two divisions below his former club.

The Leeds faithful were sure to remind the Northern Ireland international of his past intentions, as they bask in the glory of being a Premier League themselves.

But, of course, it can change pretty quickly as Peacock-Farrell will be hoping this spell allows him to return to Burnley next season and challenge Nick Pope for that number one spot.

But he has to pull up some serious trees if he wants to push his way past the Englishman because it’s not going to be easy.

Until then, his focus will be on helping Sheffield Wednesday get out of the mess they currently find themselves in.
