Liverpool teenager Kaide Gordon is making a huge impact on Jurgen Klopp and his coaching staff in pre-season training.
That’s according to The Athletic, who claim that Gordon has ‘massively impressed’ coaching staff and even senior players this summer.
Gordon was named in Liverpool’s travelling party to Austria ahead of the new Premier League season as his rapid development continues.
The 16-year-old only joined Liverpool from Derby County back in February, with the Reds paying £1million rising to £3million in order to sign him.
Gordon made an instant impact on Merseyside, hitting six goals and three assists in just eight games for Liverpool’s Under-18’s.
The versatile forward has been backed for a huge future, and to be making this kind of impression on senior players already speaks to his quality.

Liverpool fans were dazzled by Gordon last week as he impressed against Wacker Innsbruck, and he should continue to feature in pre-season preparations.
Featuring in the Premier League next season may be a little much for Gordon right now, but you just never know given Klopp’s belief in young players and the enormous potential Gordon holds.
