Liverpool are once again being linked with a move for Adama Traore.

If anything is certain during a summer transfer window, it’s that the Reds will be touted to sign the Wolverhampton Wanderers winger.

According to The Daily Star, Liverpool, long-time admirers of the player, are indeed renewing an interest in the big Spain international in what would be a £30 million move – and £30 million less than Wolves have previously wanted.

The report adds that Jurgen Klopp is a fan of the player and, well, that much appears to be true.

Earlier this year, here’s what Klopp said about the player.

He told The Echo, after a 1-0 win over the Molineux club: “The speed of Traore is actually undefendable in moments.”

Bullet

There’s no denying that Traore is indeed an absolute rocket of a footballer and with his well-documented muscles, he has the potential to be something special.

But there’s no getting away from his goals – or lack thereof – and when you’re talking about a move to Liverpool, speed and the size of your arms isn’t enough.

You simply need end product – especially for an attacking player – and the truth is that Traore only has seven Premier League goals in three seasons at Molineux.
