South Korean Olympic athlete Shin Yubin is a ‘true ARMY’, says BTS fans after the athlete competing at the Tokyo Olympics react to V aka Kim Taehyung’s supportive message for her left in their fan app Weverse.
Shin Yubin is the youngest South Korean Tennis player ever to compete at the Olympics. BTS ARMY took to Twitter to share how excited the 17-year-old Table Tennis player looked while talking about BTS. While speaking about BTS V’s message, the athlete also shared her favorite BTS song gushing she would find comfort in that!
Shin Yubin reacts to BTS V’s message
A few days back, BTS V left a message for Shin Yubin in a fan post on Weverse where the ‘Blue and Grey’ crooner cheered for the athlete writing ‘Fighting.’ Talking about BTS V and finding the message through Weverse, Shin Yubin revealed, “You can see BTS (on the app), and something was posted, so I immediately went on the app and it was me. My hands were shaking so much & I sent messages like, “Mom, dad, what’s going on?”
Yubin added, “I couldn’t show it off (the message) because singles matches were coming up, but now I’ll listen to “Dope” and find the confidence to do that.”
BTS fans deem Shin Yubin as a ‘true ARMY’
Shin Yubin has been a certified BTS fan for a while. A few months back, the Table Tennis player took to Instagram to flaunt her autographed ‘BE’ album thanking the Grammy-nominated BTS group. With her being ecstatic about BTS V’s message, ARMY welcomes her once again to the fandom.
A fan shared, “she is so adorable and sweet! taehyung saying “fighting” might probably boosted her up! at such a young age, she is representing her country which is truly admirable. yubin is an amazing tennis player and I really respect and proud of her!” An ARMY chimed in saying, “she’s representing every armys reaction! I’m happy for her.”
BTS, hailed as South Korea’s pride has been played a number of times in the Tokyo Olympics so far. A Korean media article shared that ‘Dynamite’ and ‘Butter’ are the two most requested songs from the athletes at the Olympics.
