Atletico Madrid are interested in signing Alexandre Lacazette from Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the summer transfer window, according to Calciomercato.com.
It has been reported that Lacazette is leaving Arsenal this summer, and that the Arsenal striker is back on the radar of La Liga champions Atletico.
Arsenal want to sell
Lacazette is out of contract at Arsenal at the end of next season, and there has been intense speculation that the Gunners want to sell the 30-year-old this summer.
Earlier this month, it was reported on the Transfer Window Podcast that Arsenal are keen to get Lacazette off their books.
Journalist Ian McGarry said on the Transfer Window Podcast that “Lacazette has been marketed very aggressively around Europe”.

The Sun reported last week that Arsenal are looking for £15 million as transfer fee for the striker, who earns £175,000 per week as salary.
Leaving Arsenal for Atletico Madrid
Atletico won the La Liga title last season and regularly compete in the Champions League.
If the Spanish club want the striker, then the Arsenal man should seriously consider a switch, especially if the Gunners want to sell him.
The France international striker has scored 50 goals in 128 appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal so far in his career.
