Crystal Palace are hopeful of signing Tottenham Hotspur target Joachim Andersen from Lyon this week, according to The Daily Mail.

It is being reported this evening (6:41pm) that Patrick Vieira’s Palace are closing in on a £20 million transfer deal for Lyon defender Andersen.
Tottenham have also been interested in the 25-year-old Denmark international, according to the report.
Earlier today, The Telegraph reported that Palace are favourites to sign Andersen, who spent last season on loan at Fulham from Lyon.
Spurs have been tracking the 25-year-old central defender for three years, according to Eurosport in April.
However, the North London club are now focused on Cristian Romero and Takehiro Tomiyasu of Atalanta and Bologna respectively.
Would Joachim Andersen be good signing for Crystal Palace?
Andersen played well for Fulham last season, and it was not his fault that the Cottagers got relegated from the Premier League.
The 25-year-old scored one goal and gave one assist in 31 Premier League games for the Cottagers.
Tottenham have a good scouting network, and it is clear that the North London club rate Andersen.
Palace would have seen closely last season what the Dane is capable of, and given that he is 25, he can only get better.
