Arsenal are planning to make a third bid for Aaron Ramsdale, as the Gunners remain determined to sign the Sheffield United goalkeeper, according to Sky Sports.
What’s the story?
Sky Sports are reporting this afternoon that Arsenal are considering making a third offer for Ramsdale.
The Gunners’ third bid will be an initial £18 million. There will be add-ons, which will take the total amount to above £25 million.
Could Arsenal be successful?
Arsenal’s reported third bid does appear to be low.
It is unlikely that the Blades will accept it.
First of all, Ramsdale cost the Yorkshire club £18.5 million in transfer fees last summer, as reported by Sky Sports at the time.

The Guardian reported this week that United, who will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League, are looking for £30 million including add-ons.
Arsenal’s plan is to pay a total of around £25 million.
That’s £5 million less than what the Blades are looking for.
Yes, the Blades are in the Championship, but surely they will not sell an important player like Ramsdale for an initial transfer fee of £18 million.
Arsenal will probably have to increase their offer if they are to have a realistic chance of bringing the 23-year-old goalkeeper to the Emirates Stadium.
However, you just never know when the window is open. Anything is possible.
