Newcastle United have been offered the chance to sign Ademola Lookman, who is of interest to Southampton, according to The Chronicle.
What’s the story?
It is being reported this morning that RB Leipzig winger Lookman has been offered to Newcastle.
The former Everton youngster is rated at £10 million, and Newcastle manager Steve Bruce is a fan.
The Magpies reportedly wanted the winger in January 2020.
Southampton are also interested in Lookman, whose £10 million valuation may not be within the Magpies’ reach.
Lookman to Newcastle?
Lookman cost £22.5 million in the summer of 2019 when Everton sold him to Leipzig, as reported by BBC Sport.
Things have not worked out for the winger in Germany, and now he is valued at £10 million.

Lookman being offered to Newcastle among other clubs in the Premier League shows that Leipzig are desperate to cash in on him.
The former Charlton Athletic winger did well on occasions for Everton, and his performances for Fulham in the Premier League last season were encouraging.
The 23-year-old scored four goals and gave four assists in 34 league games last season.
That Leipzig signed the winger from Everton for £22.5 million in 2019 shows that they saw something in him.
For £10 million, it would be worth a risk for Newcastle, especially as Lookman is only 23.
