We will see more of the futuristic 2042 at EA Play, but in – otter exciting news – fans can now download Battlefield 1 for free from Amazon Prime Gaming. As if that wasn’t exciting enough, we will also be able to grab Battlefield 5 for the cost of nothing, too.
EA Play is scheduled to happen on July 22nd at 10:00 PT, 13:00 ET, and 18:00 BST. There are exciting rumours about the return of Dead Space, but there’s also hints that we may see Bad Company 2‘s Valparaiso map come back for 2042‘s new mysterious mode.
A nostalgic evening of returns would be awesome, but what’s just as good is a free time travel to World War 1.
How to download Battlefield 1 for free
Amazon Prime Gaming subscribers can now download Battlefield 1 for free until August 4th.
You only have until August 4th to claim the offer, but any code will be eligible until August 20th. If you do not redeem it before then, your ability to get the world war 1 epic at no expenses will disappear.

You can sign up to Amazon Prime Gaming for just £7.99 per month. However, there is a free 30-day trial which would be more than enough time for you to grab Battlefield 1 for nothing.
Aside from revisiting the first World War for free, there are plenty of other reasons to hand over your credit cards deets. After all, the subscription comes with monthly exclusive loot for some of the biggest multiplayer titles such as FIFA 21, Warframe, and Destiny 2, and it also adds new games every month at no added cost.
How to get Battlefield 5 for free
Fans will be able to download Battlefield 5 for free from Amazon Prime Gaming starting August 2nd.
It’s a far more divisive and controversial instalment than the fan-favourite 2016 release, but – hey – there’s no turning down freebies. While both entries will be offered on the house in August, we expect the 2042 open beta to become available hopefully in September.
Although there is no official release date for the open beta, EA confirmed awhile back that 2042 will launch on October 22nd.
