Newcastle fans have taken to Twitter to react after Sky Sports revealed that Kristoffer Ajer had completed his medical with Brentford.

Well, you might be wondering why this concerns Newcastle fans.
Earlier in the window, it was being reported that Steve Bruce wanted Ajer on Tyneside.
Some even expected the Norway international to become Newcastle’s first signing of the summer.
Now, it looks like the Magpies have missed out, after Ajer completed a medical ahead of his £13.5m move to Thomas Frank’s side.

As a result, why would Ashley spend more money on the club?
For example, would you pay for new tyres, new windows and a new paint job on a car you’ve put up for sale? No, is the answer.
Hopefully, Bruce is still given a bit of money to spend, and he can also find some success in the loan market.
