Eurosport are reporting today that Everton are willing to let James Rodriguez leave this summer.
Sevilla are interested in the former Real Madrid attacker.
The Colombia international, who can play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, wants to return to Spain.
Everton are happy for the 30-year-old former FC Porto and AS Monaco player to leave this summer.
How did James Rodriguez fare at Everton?
Much was expected of James when he joined Everton last summer.
The Colombian was reportedly a free transfer from Madrid.
The attacker described himself as “a real winner” on Everton’s official website when he moved to the club in September 2020.

James arrived at Goodison Park having won league titles with Banfield, Porto, Madrid and Bayern Munich.
The Colombian also won the Champions League twice with Los Blancos.
Carlo Ancelotti was key in the signing of the 30-year-old for Everton.
Ancelotti is now the new head of Madrid, and Rafael Benitez has replaced the Italian at Goodison Park.

Although James started his Everton career strongly, he could not maintain it, and there were also injury problems.
James made 21 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League last season.
The Colombian scored six goals and gave four assists in those games.
James also played twice in the FA Cup for the Merseyside club last season.
