Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to react after James Milner posted footage of him and his Liverpool teammates embarrassing themselves for LFCTV.
What’s the story?
Well, the £140,000-a-week Liverpool man sent Lineker a tweet to say that he thinks the BBC pundit’s job is safe, as Jürgen Klopp’s squad fumbled their words.
The likes of Milner, Curtis Jones, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Andy Robertson attempted to send a message to supporters for LFCTV.
However, they simply couldn’t deliver their lines, as a number of players stuttered, forgot their lines, or simply said the wrong thing.
It was a hilarious video, which proved just how difficult it is to nail the simplest of tasks in one take.
What did Gary Lineker tweet?

After receiving Milner’s initial message, the BBC Match of the Day host replied with a seven-word tweet.
You can see Lineker’s message below.
Next time you see the ex-England striker deliver his lines perfectly on live TV, remember how much the Liverpool players struggled to record just one sentence!
In truth, it was great to see the Liverpool squad in such high spirits.

The likes of Milner, Robertson, Virgil van Dijk and others seem to be in a good place, and are looking as fresh as ever.
Hopefully, the Reds can begin the Premier League season with a positive attitude, and look to wrestle their title back from Manchester City.
