Britney Spears recently unleashed her fury on Jamie Lynn Spears in an Instagram post. The singer bashed her sister for singing the remix to one of her songs during a 2017 awards show tribute performance.

Britney’s not so cryptic Instagram post was an open message to all her haters. She did not shy away from taking a jab at her father, and sister too.

The Toxic singer called her sister out as a “so-called support system” and bashed her for her tribute performance from an award show, which the sisters had attended some years ago.

Jamie Lynn Spears tribute performance for Britney explored

The performance Britney was referring to was from the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards.

At the time she attended the show alongside her little sister Jamie and their mother Lynne Spears.

It was previously announced that Hailee Steinfeld, alongside Kelsea Ballerini, and Sofia Carson would perform a tribute for Britney Spears but many fans and Britney alike were taken aback when Jamie joined them.

At the time the Zoey 101 actor fabulously sang Britney’s song Till the World Ends.

At the end of the medley, we see that Britney’s mum Lynne got up and clapped ecstatically at her daughter’s performance but the Toxic singer was less than enthused.

Singer bashes father and sister in latest Instagram post

Amidst her conservatorship battle, the 39-year-old singer took to her Instagram on Saturday, July 17 and posted an open message for her haters.

Britney announced in the post that she wasn’t coming back to perform at her Las Vegas residency amidst her father’s control of her life. The singer said, “. I’d much rather share videos YES from my living room instead of onstage in Vegas.”

Referring to her father the singer said, “I’m not gonna be performing on any stages anytime soon with my dad handling what I wear, say, do, or think. I’ve done that for the past 13 years.”

However, it was her not so subtle jab at her sister that caught many eyeballs. Firing shots at her sister Jamie for her 2017 tribute performance Britney said, “I don’t like that my sister showed up at an awards show and performed MY SONGS to remixes !!!!! My so-called support system hurt me deeply !!!!”

Jamie (30) came out in support of her sister last month, speaking out about her sister’s situation. In a video message online, the actress said, ‘I’m so proud of her for using her voice. If ending the conservatorship… or whatever the hell else she wants to do to be happy — I support that.”

Jamie further went on, ‘I am so proud of her for requesting new counsel as I told her to do many years ago. I’m not my family, I’m my own person. I’m speaking for myself.’
