Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation that Spurs are willing to trade Tanguy Ndombele for Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar.
What’s the story?
According to ESPN, Tottenham are interested in signing Aouar from Lyon in the summer transfer window.
Spurs have actually made contact with the Ligue 1 outfit to secure the services of the 23-year-old France international midfielder.
It has also been reported that Tottenham have offered Lyon the chance to re-sign Ndombele in a swap deal involving Aouar.

As you can see from the tweets below, Tottenham fans are absolutely stunned at the rumour and are not buying it.
Well, at least some of them.
It does seem quite strange that Tottenham would be willing to send Ndombele to Lyon and bring in Aouar.
Lyon are asking for €20 to €25 million (£17.13 – £21.42m) for Aouar, according to Le10Sport.
According to ESPN, Spurs paid Lyon €60 million (£51.40m) in 2019 to sign Ndombele.
A straight swap would mean a huge loss for Spurs, while Lyon are unlikely to pay a lot to sign Ndombele in a cash-plus-player deal.
It does appear that this potential swap deal is unlikely to happen.
