Arsenal were held to a 2-2 draw by Rangers in their second pre-season friendly of the summer at Ibrox this afternoon.
Fresh from a shock 2-1 defeat by Hibernian, Mikel Arteta’s side were unable to make up for it at Ibrox.
In fact, it was very nearly another defeat for Arsenal, who needed a late equaliser from Eddie Nketiah to spare their blushes.
One talking point was the fact that Nuno Tavares, on his Gunners debut, was among the goals.
Another talking point was Rob Holding’s appearance.
In Arsenal’s win over Brighton on the final day of last season, the 25-year-old was golden haired and sported a clean-shaven look.
Against Rangers, Holding sported a shaved head and looks to have grown himself a beard in what is quite a good look for the former Bolton Wanderers powerhouse.
