Leeds United and Crystal Palace target Okay Yokuslu is available for just £5 million this summer as the former West Brom loanee has no future at Celta Vigo, according to Marca.

If the Turkey international was hoping for a fresh start in Spain when former Internacional coach Eduardo ‘Chaco’ Coudet was handed the reins in mid-December, he was sadly mistaken.

Yokuslu started just one of a potential six games under Coudet before joining West Bromwich Albion on a six-month deal at the end of the January transfer window.

So it should come as no surprise to learn Yokuslu will be allowed to leave Celta before the summer is out.

Marca reports a man who impressed with his passing range and tough tackling at the Hawthorns isn’t part of Coudet’s plans at Celta Vigo. The Galicia-based outfit is looking to find a buyer for a man who set them back £5.2 million following his 2018 arrival from Trabzonspor.

Will Leeds or Crystal Palace opt for Okay Yokuslu?

A few weeks ago, El Desmarque reported Leeds and Crystal Palace were both willing to offer Yokuslu a fresh start in the Premier League.

At Elland Road, the 27-year-old could be understudy to the outstanding but oft overworked Kalvin Phillips, while Crystal Palace are looking to compensate for the departure of James McCarthy.

Yokuslu is unlikely to break the bank.

Celta Vigo are desperate to sell and, with just two years left on his contract, El Desmarque believes £5 million may be enough to get the deal done.
