Some Celtic fans on social media have been reacting after it was reported that Kristoffer Ajer is closing in on a move to Brentford.
The Norwegian is apparently set to move to the London club for an initial £13.5m, which could end up rising to £15m with add-ons.
Interestingly, despite the fact they’re about to lose one of their best defenders, Celtic supporters are very happy with the fact they’re going to receive such a fee for Ajer and have actually had a positive response to this rumour.
Indeed, fans online are generally buzzing with the fact they’re receiving an eight-figure fee for a player who is entering the final year of his deal, and we have to agree that this is a great piece of business.
Of course, Ajer will be difficult to replace, but the Scottish giants are getting good value for the player if this reported figure is accurate.
